Our first conversation (usually 45 minutes to an hour) is called a discovery call, in which we’ll clarify your writing goals and how I can best help you achieve them. There is no charge for that conversation. We’ll assess our compatibility for working together, consider your budget, and make a plan.

My style is to affirm you in every genuine way I can find to do so, but also to challenge you with constructive questions designed to help you communicate what you meant to say. Writing takes courage. It is also enormously rewarding. Every one of us needs an editor to bring a document from where it is to where we wanted it to be.
